# What is WorldVisa Console?

> Learn how WorldVisa Console brings notification workflows, subscribers, delivery providers, and in-app messages together for WorldVisa applications.

WorldVisa Console is where you manage notifications for WorldVisa applications. You define the messages and delivery steps in a workflow, connect your providers, and use the API to send an event when something happens in your application.

For example, when a lead is assigned, your application can trigger a workflow that adds an in-app notification and sends an email. The Console lets you manage that notification flow and check what happened after it ran.

## Why use WorldVisa Console?

### Keep notification logic in one place

Your application decides when an event happens and who needs to know. A workflow defines how to notify them. This gives you one place to maintain message templates and delivery steps across applications.

### Bring notifications into your application

The Inbox component displays in-app notifications for the signed-in subscriber. Users can read messages, follow their actions, and manage notification preferences from your application.

An in-app message and an email can belong to the same workflow, so you can build a connected experience across both channels.

### Choose the right channels for each event

Workflows support in-app, email, SMS, push, and chat steps. Connect an enabled provider for each external channel you need, then configure the message content and conditions for that step.

### Control timing and notification volume

Use delays to wait before the next step, digests to collect related events, and throttling to limit repeated notifications. Conditions let you decide whether a step should run based on the available data.

### Test changes in the right environment

Workflows, subscribers, and provider credentials are scoped to an environment. Check your environment before testing so test messages reach the intended recipients.

### Understand what happened after sending

Use the Activity Feed to inspect workflow runs, individual steps, and delivery errors. When a message does not arrive, start with the run rather than guessing which part failed.

## Common use cases

### Transactional notifications

Notify someone about an event that needs their attention, such as a lead assignment, a payment update, or an upcoming meeting. Pass the relevant details and destination link in the event payload.

### In-app updates

Show notifications inside a WorldVisa portal so users can return to the relevant record from the Inbox.

### Reminders and follow-ups

Add a delay before a reminder and use conditions to decide whether it is still needed. Your application supplies the event data; the workflow applies the configured delivery logic.

### Digests and team alerts

Collect related updates into a digest, or send an operational alert to a configured Slack or Microsoft Teams destination.
