# WorldVisa Developer Platform

> Build notification workflows and connect delivery providers for WorldVisa applications.

The WorldVisa Developer Platform brings notification workflows, subscribers, and delivery providers into one place. Use it to define what a notification says, who receives it, and how it reaches them across in-app, email, SMS, push, and chat channels.

## Work in the right environment

Open the deployed WorldVisa Developer Platform and select the environment you want to work in. Keep development tests separate from production recipients and credentials. Workflows, subscribers, and provider connections must use the intended environment.

## Use the WorldVisa API

The API examples use REST rather than a separate server SDK. Set `WV_API_URL` to the API origin supplied for your deployment, without a trailing slash or `/v1` suffix, and `WV_API_KEY` to an API key for the intended environment. These variable names are placeholders for your local examples; do not paste a real key into a guide or browser bundle.

Requests shown with `Authorization: ApiKey` use the API-key authentication supported by the server. Console requests use the signed-in session and an environment selection. Do not substitute a browser session token for an API key in these examples.

Browser Inbox packages in this workspace are named `@wv/react` and `@wv/js`. Their presence in the workspace does not mean a public npm package or a separate server SDK is available.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Setup screenshots illustrate individual controls; available navigation depends on your deployment. Provider availability follows the current WorldVisa Integration Store. Only providers enabled in this deployment are included here. Provider credentials and third-party account requirements still apply.

## Follow the notification lifecycle

An application sends an event to a workflow. The workflow resolves its subscribers, evaluates conditions and preferences, and executes its configured steps. Delivery providers carry messages to external channels; in-app messages appear in the Inbox. Use the Activity Feed to inspect the resulting run and troubleshoot delivery.
