# Leaderboard

> Check your monthly sales progress, understand the rankings, and review department, team, and staff targets.

Open **Sales → Leaderboard** to see how the month is going for you and your team. You can check sales achieved, progress towards targets, and the adjustments that affect the totals—all on one page.

Start by choosing the month you want to review. The figures and target drawer follow that month, so check the selection before discussing performance or changing a target.

## Read the monthly summary

| Card | What it tells you |
| - | - |
| **Target Achieved** | Sales achieved by the department for the selected month, with the percentage of its monthly target completed. The description shows the target or confirms that it has been reached. |
| **Projected Month-End Sales** | An estimate of where sales could finish if the current daily average continues. The description shows the projected shortfall or amount above target. |

The projection uses sales achieved so far, divided by the days elapsed, then extended across the full month. It needs at least three elapsed days and a positive sales total before it appears. Treat it as a guide for planning follow-ups and collections, rather than a confirmed result.

### What counts towards sales achieved?

The system uses **confirmed invoice payments attributed to the staff member** in the selected month. It counts their discounted service value before tax and platform fees. For an instalment payment, it uses the corresponding part of the payment plan.

Sending a proposal or raising an unpaid invoice does not itself add sales achieved. Refund deductions, carried deficits, and recorded adjustments can also change the net figure. This is why the amount on the leaderboard may differ from the total amount a client paid, which can include tax and fees.

## Understand your position

The staff leaderboard includes sales executives and sales team leaders. Individual positions are ordered by **the percentage of each person's target achieved**.

For example, ₹6 lakh against a ₹5 lakh target is **120%**. ₹8 lakh against a ₹10 lakh target is **80%**. The first person ranks higher by target completion, even though the second has a larger sales amount.

The podium highlights the first three positions, with first place in the centre. The Staff list continues below those positions. Use the page controls at the bottom to see more staff or change how many rows appear.

### Percentages and trend colours

* **100%** means the monthly target has been reached; a higher percentage means it has been exceeded.
* **Green/upward** means progress is at or ahead of the expected pace for the date.
* **Red/downward** means progress is behind that pace.
* **A dash** means there is no target percentage to calculate, such as when the target is zero.

You can be below 100% and still be on pace partway through the month. Hover over a percentage for its explanation. If your target is missing or looks wrong, ask the person responsible for targets to review it before comparing your position.

## Follow team performance

**Top Team Performers** shows each team's sales achieved, progress against its target, and member count. Teams are ordered by **sales achieved**, so their ordering uses a different measure from the individual staff rankings.

Use this alongside your own progress: a strong personal result is useful, and the team total shows how everyone is doing together.

## Check recent adjustments

The **Recent Adjustments** panel helps explain deductions affecting sales performance. Each entry identifies the staff member, adjustment type, amount, and date. Hover over its type to read the recorded reason.

| Adjustment | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Refund Deduction** | A recorded deduction relating to a refund. |
| **Carried Deficit** | A negative net balance brought forward from an earlier period. This is different from simply missing a monthly target. |
| **Manual Adjustment** | An adjustment recorded by an authorised user. Check its reason for context. |

If your sales total is negative, hover over the amount in the staff list to see the breakdown of new sales and adjustments. If something needs checking, share the selected month and the specific entry with your manager or Accounts.

## View or adjust targets

Select **Adjust Target** to open the target drawer. If you can only view targets, the button reads **View Targets** and the Staff and Team controls are read-only. Changing the department target requires separate permission.

Targets are organised into **Department**, **Staff**, and **Team** tabs. These are monthly allocations, so always check the month in the drawer title.

### Department target

The Department tab shows the overall sales target for the month. Authorised users can change the amount and select **Save changes** when the value has changed.

Changing the department target can redistribute the difference through automatically managed team and staff allocations. Manually set allocations can remain unchanged. Read the distribution message, then review the Team and Staff tabs to check where the amounts now stand.

> [!TIP]
>
> If the department target changes, review the allocations before sharing the new targets with staff. A saved department total does not by itself mean every allocation is balanced.

### Staff targets

The Staff tab lists individual targets. **Department Target** and **Current staff total** help you check that the allocations add up.

![Staff target drawer with labels identifying individual targets, the total comparison, and Save changes](https://mintcdn.com/wv-enterprise/PcTxd3WLo5iruk9e/images/crm/leaderboard-staff-annotated.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=PcTxd3WLo5iruk9e\&q=85\&s=37f14b9bb76d5ada2556f0bd55472c2f)

To move part of an allocation from one person to another, adjust both amounts so the staff total still matches the department target, then select **Save changes**. For example, increasing one person's target by ₹50,000 requires an equal reduction elsewhere if the department total stays the same.

The system checks this balance when saving. If the values have changed since you opened the drawer, refresh and review the latest amounts before trying again.

### Team targets

The Team tab shows each team's target and member count. Use it to redistribute the existing allocation between teams.

![Team target drawer with labels identifying the allocation total, member count, team amount, and Save changes](https://mintcdn.com/wv-enterprise/PcTxd3WLo5iruk9e/images/crm/leaderboard-team-annotated.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=PcTxd3WLo5iruk9e\&q=85\&s=e7a80dc9dbbefd340979b736b342afdb)

Keep the combined team allocation equal to the total you started with. **Your total** shows the running amount and whether it balances; **Save changes** becomes available when you have made a balanced change. To change the overall department target, use the Department tab with the required permission.

Team and staff allocations are saved separately. After redistributing team targets, review Staff targets too rather than assuming each person's allocation has changed with them.

## Use it during your day

Check your progress, identify the follow-ups or pending collections you need to act on, and return after payments have been confirmed. Use the refresh icon beside **Updated… ago** to request the latest figures. Payment processing and recalculation may take a little time.

If an expected sale is missing, first check the month, the invoice's confirmed payment, and its staff attribution. For direct transfer, cash, or cheque, Accounts must verify and record the payment; sending the invoice alone is not enough. See [Creating a deal](https://docs.worldvisagroup.com/crm/creating-a-deal.md) for the payment process.
